From Persia, With Love (chitarra)

This chitarra is a stringed instrument for cutting pasta dough with two sides, fettuccine and linguine. The imagery depicted in its hand cut marquetry inlay is layered with symbolism telling the story of the client's life. With every individual piece of veneer being cut with a scalpel each panel alone took hundreds of hours to make.
